Today a new version of Peacock is released. Fresh on the heels of 0.26 comes 0.27 which fixes a few nasty crashes. There is also a problem with updating version 0.26 from within Peacock. If you are already using version 0.26, please update by manually installing Peacock after downloading it here.

A project that I had not gotten around to add to the software section of my site is the Python version of a citation processor that I have been working on: CiteProc-Py. More details and explanation are available here.

The feature set of Peacock has been frozen until further notice. The current features fulfill the needs I have for Peacock at the moment in my research. If there are bugs in the current feature set, I would really appreciate to hear about them (mail me at peacock@johankool.nl). Of course feature requests are still welcome as well, but as noted, it won’t likely be possible to implement them any time soon.

Note: The system requirements are now Mac OS X 10.5 or newer. Version 0.23 is the last version that runs on Mac OS X 10.4.
